Join the Sacramento Area Black Caucus (SABC) and the Black United Fund of Sacramento Valley (BUFSV) for their annual Kwanzaa Celebration on Wed-12/29 from 6-8pm at the Oak Park Community Center, 3425 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. in Sacramento.  The year’s program will feature a libation, candle highlighting and unity cup ceremonies; and a panel discussion on economic development. The program will also feature a special tribute in memory of Rev. Lucius Walker, Jr., founder and guiding light of IFCO/Pastors for Peace Program.  This year’s principle is: Ujamaa (cooperative economics), to build and maintain our own stores, shops and other businesses and to profit from them together.  >> read more
