Greetings Hub Fans and Newcomers to Sacculturalhub.com. I’m so glad that you are staying in tune with THE HUB’s Urban Weekly e-magazine. There is so much coming up on the horizon this holiday season andplease don’t anyone tell me how bored they are and how Sacramento doesn’t have good entertainment. If you are bored in Sacramento, then I’m sorry to say that you are totally living “under a rock”. We try our very best to keep you updated with breaking news on what’s happening good and educational for the entire family with a variety of multicultural events and activities (comedy, gospel, theatre, jazz/R&B concerts, seminars, parties, mixers, sporting events, art exhibits, and more) in Sacramento and beyond.
I would like to encourage you to take the time to get out into the community and patronize events that are kicking you some knowledge while entertaining you. For example, I received some great info from Faye Kennedy of the “Talking Drum” about theThe Black Panther Party History Month Book Fairand wow does this sound interesting and educational (I absolutely love the website!).
For those of you who don’t know, I will be celebrating my birthday on October 10th and can’t wait to just relax and watch uninterrupted Lifetime movies all day.

Don’t miss “A RAISIN IN THE SUN” that tells the story of a family living and struggling on Chicago’s South Side in the 1950s. It is a fiercely moving portrait of people whose hopes and dreams are constantly deferred. The Washington Post hails it as “one of a handful of great American plays – it belongs in the inner circle, along with Death of a Salesman, Long Day’s Journey Into Night and The Glass Menagerie.” Play runs from Fri-9/25 through 10/31/09 at Celebration Arts Theater, Street: 4469 D Street in Sacramento. >>more
