Months after agreeing to regularly meet with the White House, the Congressional Black Caucus on Wednesday declined its latest invitation to meet with President Trump and other administration officials, saying that its concerns “fell on deaf ears.”

The invite to each member of the 49-member caucus came last week from Omarosa Manigault, the former reality TV star from The Apprentice and current assistant to the president. The group of black lawmakers featured the invite when it announced its decision to decline on Twitter.
