Tributes to Michael Jackson and Legends of Hip Hop Highlight 8th Annual “Sounds of Soul” Awards. Major television stars such as Tatyana Ali (“Fresh Prince of Bel Air”), recording legends such the Temptations Ali Woodson, and hit maker Jay King (Club Nouveau) will celebrate Black Music Month in Sacramento and perform their latest songs live in concert.

Sacramento hip hop music lovers will enjoy the tribute to “Local Legends of Hip Hop,” presented during the show. Ten of the greatest hip hop and rap stars of all time, who come from Sacramento will receive honors for helping to stake the city’s name in rap music.
