Don’t wait around for Election Day. Vote Early.
We are encouraging all voters to vote the ballot mailed to them. You can mail it back (if postmarked on or before Election Day) or drop it off at any Ballot Drop Box or Vote Center; no postage necessary.
- Ballot Drop Box: Voted ballots may be placed in any of the 74 secured Ballot Drop Box locations throughout Sacramento County. Starting May 9Th!
- Vote Center: Some Vote Centers will open 11 days including Election Day. All 87 Vote Centers are open 4 days including Election Day. This means weekend voting starts May 28th! Voters can visit ANY Vote Center in the County to drop off completed ballots OR they can vote in person. Vote Centers provide accessible voting devices, language assistance, and offer eligible residents the ability to register to vote and update their registration.
- Track Your Ballot: Sign up for “Where’s My Ballot” with Ballottrax, a free ballot tracking and alert system for voters who wish to know the status of their ballot. Visit https://california.ballottrax.net/voter/
