A Limited Number of Tickets for Kirk Franklin’s Saturday Eve Performance in Oakland Are Still Available!

by Michael P Coleman

This Saturday evening (April 16), gospel legend Kirk Franklin is wrapping up his 20 Years In One Night tour in Oakland. It’s his first-ever solo tour, and he told me we’re in for a night like none other.

“It will be the first tour that I’ve done by myself,” Franklin said. “I’m going to do 20 years of music in one night, and I’m not going to leave until [the audience leaves]. I want it to be the most exciting opportunity to celebrate life, to celebrate God, to celebrate grace, and to have a party all at the same time.”

The tour is a retrospective of Franklin’s career, which has garnered him nine Grammy Awards, 40 Stellar Awards and 16 Gospel Music Association Awards. His latest album, Losing My Religion, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Gospel Album chart, marking Franklin’s 11th consecutive #1 debut. The album’s “Wanna Be Happy” debuted atop the Gospel Digital Songs and Hot Gospel Songs charts and earned Franklin his latest Grammy, for Best Gospel Performance / Song.

Franklin’s playing the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, and at press time a limited number of tickets are still available, as are tickets for an exclusive “meet-and-greet” with the Franklin.

If you’re due for a blessing, I’d suggest you grab one.
