Building Bridges for Community Empowerment and Social Justice

There has never been a time when there was a greater need for the Center on Race, Immigration, and Social Justice (CRISJ). We must point the way for the generation that follows us. We owe that to them. 

On May 23 from 6pm – 9pm, California State University will host an event designed to support student and community empowerment through research, mentorship, and civic engagement. The event is a fundraiser for CRISJ, and you could attend for as little as $15. The event will feature California Assemblymember Dr. Shirley Weber, who is the author of a bill, AB 392, which would limit deadly force by police officers.
