Join the California Museum in discussion with Michelle Duster on her great-grandmother Ida B. Wells’ legacy and influence on current events, as celebrated in the Museum’s online exhibits “Kamala Harris: First, But Not Last” and others.

Duster is champion of racial and gender equity whose advocacy has led to the creation of public history projects celebrating the achievements of women and African Americans. Her latest book, “Ida B. the Queen: The Extraordinary Life and Legacy of Ida B. Wells,” is out now.
