Celebrating Living Legend Mr. Frank Withrow ~ Teacher, Mentor and Inspirational Icon

Residents of Sacramento region and beyond along with family members who love the living legend Mr. Frank Withrow will come together to celebrate a Teacher, Mentor and Inspirational Icon who is battling cancer. Join his friends, students, sorority sisters and fraternity brothers in a parade of love and support.

When & Where: Sunday, June 7th

Meet at 2:00 pm to create signage at the Edward Harris Jr. Middle School (parking lot) located at: 8691 Power Inn Rd, Elk Grove, CA 95624. Take photos at 2:30 pm. Procession leaves the parking Lot at 2:45 pm. Parade starts at 3 pm and ends at 4 pm.

Mr. Withrow worked as a teacher and administrator in the Sacramento City Unified School District and retired in 2004 after 34 years. In his classroom at C.K. McClatchy High School, his first and foremost priority was planting the seeds of knowledge and self-esteem in all of his students and the other young people. He’s the founder and former director of the C.K. McClatchy High School African American Cultural Exchange Program (AACE). This program continues today and is designed for high school students to mentor younger students and teach their rich culture to the world.
