Community Engagement Awards for Youth Led Organizations

Saving Our Legacy, African Americans for Smoke Free Safe Places B is offering Community Engagement Application Awards (aka: CEAAs) for African American youth lead organizations (youth ages 10-17) who are in the cities of: Elk Grove, Modesto, Patterson, Sonora, Tracy, Turlock, Yuba.

Youth must be interested in learning more about tobacco/vape education, outreach and prevention work which includes industry target marketing of the black community, learning civic engagement skills and how to positively establish relationships and effect policy change with decision makers. Applications will also be accepted for Modesto, Patterson, Sonora, Tracy, Turlock and Yuba Cities. Awards up to $4999.00 are available for eligible organizations.

The proposal deadline is February 7, 2020 and proposals will only be accepted by email.
