GET READY FOR LOADS OF FUN AND EXCITEMENT for the entire family at the BANANA FESTIVAL in two cities.  The 2017 Festival in Sacramento is Sat-8/12 and Sun-8/13 at William Land Park and from Fri-8/18 thru Sun-8/20 at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds. There will be so many art education activities for the children, lots of vendors/exhibits, multitude of entertainment (with music bands, dance groups, and contests), a wide variety of fantastic foods, and hundreds of bananas will be given away. And, this year’s Banana Festival will include carnival rides.  

Don’t miss the Cooking Demos, Banana Themed Fashion Show, and the Banana Themed Visual Art Exhibition sponsored by the Brick House Gallery, Community Drumming Cicle, Banana Story Telling/Trivia and so much more!

Yisrael Farm will participate in the healthy cooking demos as well as provide workshops educating the community about the environment, economic opportunities linked with the Green Economy and the billions of dollars targeting green economic growth.

You can also visit the Health and Wellness pavilion with free blood pressure, eye exam stations and heart disease/breast cancer information.
