Peers Helping Peers Community Health Training and Internship Program

The Health Education Council has partnered with the Sacramento Employment and Training Agency to launch Peers Helping Peers, a 7-week community helath training and paid internship program for youth and young adults ages 17-24.

Interns will explore:

  • Community Building
  • Mental Health Basics
  • Racial Equity
  • Resilience and Trauma-informed Care
  • Workforce Development
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Substance Abuse

Application Deadline:  May 13, 2021 at 4PM.
