FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE  11.05.09

PR & Associates Business Resources (Press Release) –
Nov 5, 2009 – In
less than one year, the “visionary” pastor, Dr.
St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Mass Choir Announces First CD/DVD Release, “Celebrate His Presence”,
Ephraim
Williams at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Sacramento has
managed to lead the production of the church’s first live
recording in its 60 year history. Celebrate His Presence, the
CD’s title is scheduled for release on Saturday, November 14,
2009.
Choir members, musicians and project
management staff of St. Paul have played a significant role on this CD
project which have included “The Million Music
Maker”, Kevin Bond from Atlanta, Georgia who served as the
Recording Producer.  Bond is a native of Chicago, Illinois who
arrived on the gospel music scene in 1983 and has experienced
overwhelming success as a producer in recent years. His leadership and
production expertise have been vital to the success of some of gospel
music’s most recognizable artists; including Kirk Franklin,
God’s Property, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Bishop T.D.
Jakes and The Potter’s House Mass Choir, Marvin Sapp, and
host of others. He was even commissioned by Steven Spielberg to produce
a song for the Prince of Egypt soundtrack. His works have garnered an
astounding 10 Grammy Awards, 30 Stellar Awards, and numerous other
awards. Few could argue with that assertion or his credentials, as his
name and production credits have thoroughly permeated the most
prominent gospel CD and cassette jackets over the past 20 years.

Pastor Williams states, “My gratitude is extended to Minister
Kevin Bond, our project producer, for his spirit, knowledge and
expertise.  Finally, my deepest thanks and appreciation is to
our Music Director, Velma Ervin Larry, for her leadership, commitment,
and dedication to this project. Velma, may God continue to smile on you
as we “Celebrate His Presence.”  St. Paul
Baptist Church, from its genesis, has been blessed with music beginning
with members of the Star Light Spiritual Singers Quartet in 1948 to the
present, with music from several choirs in the ministry
today.  Recording “Celebrate His Presence”
was not only a wonderful way to celebrate sixty years, but it has been
an incredibly “God-Glorifying” experience for the
musicians and choir members. Dedications of this special celebration go
to the memory of our beloved choir members who are now in the presence
of our Lord, and especially to the memory of musicians, Debbie Kennedy
Cager, Duane Ellis Kennedy, and to the memory of our First Lady of 38
years, Mrs. Carrie Sue Williams, a beautiful role model who was much
loved and respected.

Over 2000 persons that include church members, the choir and visitors
will gather for the CD/DVD release and 60th Anniversary Celebration at
5:00 pm on November 14, 2009 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church
located at 3996 14th Avenue in Oak Park, Sacramento. Admission to
attend this special celebration is FREE.  All men, women, and
children are invited to celebrate with the St. Paul church family on
this exciting occasion. Special invited guests include local pastors,
as well as pastors from the California State Baptist
Convention.  Among the confirmed local guests are Pastor Gary
Young of New Hope Baptist Church, Pastor Donnell Riggins of Del Paso
Union Baptist Church, and Pastor Barry Smith of Mt. Zion Baptist
Church—all of Sacramento.  Also in attendance will
be composer, Barbara Monigan or East St. Louis, IL.

There will be a Red Carpet opening and the evening will begin with a
presentation by the St. Paul Youth Choir and Little Worker’s
Guild.  The CD highlights songs which
“celebrate” the presence of Christ.  Three
from the collection are:  We Are Forgiven (composed by the
late Duane Kennedy) –the lyrics are reflective of salvation through
Jesus Christ and forgiveness of sin; Thy Name, O Lord (Barbara Monigan,
composer)– a worship/devotional piece; and I’m Blessed
(Clarence Eggleton, composer)– a daily assessment of God’s
blessings.
