SBCC-Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce
23rd Installation & Annual Awards Banquet
“21st Century Leadership: Innovative, Creative and Bold”
Thursday, November
13 from 5 pm – 8 pm
Location: Radisson Hotel,
400 Leisure Lane – Sacramento
The Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce
(SBCC) is celebrating 23 years of service to the business community and we invite you to join us. Come learn what it takes to be a leader in the 21st century from a proven
leader and our Keynote Speaker, the New Mayor of Sacramento, Kevin Johnson.
He has been a leader on the basketball court (NBA champion), in education (founder of St. Hope Academy and Sacramento High) and most importantly (or just importantly) in business as President/CEO of St. Hope Foundation and Kynship Corporation. It has been his innovation, creativeness and boldness, as well as his vision for the community where he was raised (Oak Park) and the City of Sacramento that has driven his success. Hear about the challenges he has faced and his ability to overcome them so successfully.
Come see who will be presented with the coveted business awards.
SBCC will award businesses that have had an economic impact and/or positive effect on the community, as well as the city. Join us for the networking reception and stay for the installation ceremony of the 2009 SBCC Board of Directors. Find out who will be the SBCC Leaders for the upcoming year. The dinner will be held at the beautiful Radisson Hotel from
5 pm to 8 pm. Reception begins at 5 pm. Tickets are on sale now. Free parking!
