Hearts for the Arts Fundraiser:
an event to fund access to the arts for all Sacramento students. Join
us to help connect Sacramento’s youth to the arts on Wed-2/8 from
6-9 pm.  Artists, community leaders and local heroes are being
invited to produce a heart-themed piece of art or embellish a basic
valentine with their own flair. These “heart-works” will be

January 11, 2012 at the Holiday Inn in Sacramento, California. This an
annual MLK Celebration program held in Sacramento, honoring the life
and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In addition to celebrating
the legacy of Dr. King, several individuals were honored and
acknowledged who have continued Dr. King’s commitment to work for
the betterment of African Americans and others throughout the great
state of California.  The morning program was vibrant and
fulfilling with a host of guests and dignitaries, entertainment, and
