Please read and download the 7th annual voter guide from Sacramento Sister Circle who partnerned with Black Women Organized for Political Action (BWOPA) Sacramento to provide a comprehensive voter guide. VIP items on the ballot this year folks so please take the time to READ this very helpful voter’s guide. Did you this year we elect a new governor? There are several propositions that you need to know whether or not to vote for. There are many candidates as well and this guide provides great recommendations.  However this is not an endorsement list It is an information guide to help us maximize the power of our vote. Shimia Buie’s path to full-time employment with PG&E has been as curved as Tate’s, having initially failed a test for entry-level work, but later passing it with the help of fellow PowerPathway™ students and staffers, landing a paid internship with the company and then being hired as a utility worker on its electric side.
