Music Workshop and Concert in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Recording of “Oh Happy Day” by the late Edwin Hawkins.  Guest clinician, Early Bynum – Executive Minister of Music at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Chesapeake, VA and Elizabeth City, NC. Also featuring Dorothy Morrison-Combs – member of the original Edwin Hawkins Singers and original lead singer of “Oh Happy Day”(1969).

Taking place at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 3996 14th Avenue in Sacramento. On Fri-10/18 – registration, dinner, and workshop session from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Sat-10/19 – registration, breakfast and workshop session from 8 am to 1 pm and concert from 5 pm to 8 pm.
