Russell Simmons has signed a two-year overall deal with HBO, under which he will create and develop projects for the cable network, according to an article on HollywoodReporter.com.

The deal reportedly reunites Simmons and HBO, which was the home for his “Def Comedy Jam” back in the 90s and early 2000s.
