“Praise By The Pool” travels to Florida

Lynnis Woods-Mullins, the owner and founder of Praiseworks, was not looking for nor expected to find a Business Associate through Facebook!

Victoria Moore lives and works in Florida. Lynnis Woods-Mullins lives and runs Praise Works from Sacramento, California. Victoria, came across Praise Works on Facebook, she immediately felt connected to Praise Works’ mission to address the holistic approach of mind, body and spirit as it relates to managing personal health. Lynnis’s presentation of PraiseWorks drew Victoria in such a way she felt compelled to act! The part of the vision of PraiseWorks to collaborate with individuals and communities to combat health challenges such as diabetes, obesity, and heart disease is what ultimately motivated Victoria to make a connection with Lynnis via Facebook!

Lynnis Woods-Mullins at the time was organizing her second Annual Praise by the Pool community event in Sacramento. Victoria immediately booked a flight to attend.  Lynnis said later, “I couldn’t believe it, it was a blessing, and Victoria just showed up on my doorstep and said she was drawn to get involved”.

Victoria has now brought the Praise by the Pool to Florida. Praise By The Pool is an extremely popular, family oriented, well-attended community based event that originated in Sacramento California. Praise By The Pool Florida is expecting 500 or more families, vendors and community leaders to attend.

Praise by the Pool is a major fund-raiser, allowing community change through music, education, health screenings and information.  A percentage of the proceeds from this event will go to the National Stroke Association.

The event  will feature a fantastic line-up of the region’s award-winning entertainers, including World Renowned Praise and Worship Leader Ron Kenoly, Dana Mackey and Pastor Melvin Dawson just to name a few, with exclusive vendors, all in an atmosphere of wellness, pride and movement.
