Congratulations Marshall Bailey, owner of the Kuumba Collective Art Gallery. The Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission (SMAC) just recently announced that Kuumba Collective Art Gallery has been selected as the winner for a District Awards Program (DAP) in Council Member Sheedy’s District #2. Kuumba Collective Art Gallery will be honored, along with the winners of the other districts, at an upcoming City Council meeting.
DAP is an exciting program that allows the City and County to honor artists’ and arts organizations’ contributions to our communities and to their field. Kuumba Collective Art Gallery was one of three finalists selected based on a process that evaluated artistic quality and community engagement.
