The SCCG (Sacramento Comicbook Creators Group), along with other artists, are coming together from around the Sacramento and surrounding areas once again for a live drawing session and auction to raise toys and money for the Marines Toys For Tots Drive at Empire’s Comics in Sacramento on December 15 from 11am-6pm.

The artists will be participating in drawing original artwork each using their different and unique art styles; they will also be on hand to do commissioned art work with all funds going to the Toys For Tots charity. You can participate on the Internet (where the event will be streaming live at http://www.livestream.com/sccg) where you can watch these talented artists, but also bid and win on original artwork and perhaps commission an artist to draw that favorite cartoon, super-hero, anime or manga character.

Special San Francisco guest horror hostess and author Miss Misery will be hosting the live art auction at Empire’s Comics Vault and will also be helping out on hosting the live Internet event. Joining Miss Misery will be her close and personal friend Santa Claus who will also be on hand to talk to the children and take donations to help the Marines raise toys. Also, in the parking lot will be the Sacramento Ghostbusters and TeamLoveHate. Both groups will have their amazing vehicles that are works of art in themselves, and the kids will love to see the Ghostbuster’s Ecto1.

Empire’s Comics Vault is located at 1120 Fulton Ave., Ste. K, in Sacramento. For more information visit SCCG’s Facebook page.
