Can you imagine a bill with Diana Ross, Ray Charles, and Sam Cooke? Me, either! That would have been too much talent for one stage. While Ross and Charles recorded a duet back in the 90s, Cooke would have taken that project to a whole different level!
Although the 71-year-old Ross is still thrilling concert audiences (she’ll be at Thunder Valley Casino this summer), the closest we’ll get to seeng what those three would have been like on the same stage will be to experience the daughters of Ross, Charles, and Cooke. They’re uniting for a concert this month in a tribute to their famous parents.
