OK, LeBron is staying with the Cavs.

Count on it.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, the first clue as to where King James will have his throne next season came after the Golden State Warriors continued their dynasty in Cleveland last Friday by sweeping his Cavaliers out the NBA Finals.

Afterward, somebody asked LeBron if this was his last game for the team sitting a few dribbles from his hometown of Akron, Ohio.

“I have no idea,” LeBron said.

Yeah, well. LeBron knows. So should you since none of those OTHER destinations make sense for the world’s greatest basketball player. He already has dissed the Cavs once when he bolted in 2010 for the Miami Heat, but he returned to Cleveland four years later, and logic says he won’t take his talents elsewhere again.

Let’s examine in order the teams LeBron would sign with this summer if he did the ridiculous before midnight on the June 29 deadline by opting out of the last year of his Cavaliers contract worth $33 million per season.
