She grew up as the daughter of mega famous entertainer Diana Ross.
And Tracee Ellis Ross revealed the wonderful upbringing she had with such a loving parent in the September issue of Elle Canada.
The 45-year-old actress is featured on the cover as she explained: ‘I felt like I grew up in her embrace, not her shadow’ regarding the lead singer of The Supremes.
‘And that is a testament to her. [Her children] were always more important than fame,’ she added.
‘That monster of fame that we see take down so many people with bright lights—my mother protected her light. I don’t know how. But she is a better parent than she is “Diana Ross”‘
