Seven months after George Zimmerman was acquitted of murder charges after a trial that received international attention, he says he still receives death threats, CNN reports.
He also says he is misunderstood, was scapegoated by everyone from the President to the media, and insists that misconceptions of him persist, including his reported reluctance to apologize to Trayvon Martin’s family.
At the end of the day, Zimmerman asserts, “God” is the only person he must answer to.
