Best Selling and Most Awarded Female Gospel Artist Cece Winans Receives a Whopping Nine Stellar Awards Nominations
Winners Will Be Announced July 15 & 16th in Atlanta

On the heels of CeCe Winans’ three Grammys wins and three Billboard Music Awards nominations, the 2022 Stellar Awards were recently announced and the gospel superstar added  nine (9) nominations to her 15 Stellar wins: Artist of The Year; Song of the Year; Album of the Year; Producer of the Year; Contemporary Female Artist of the Year; Urban/Inspirational Single of the Year, “Believe For It; Praise & Worship Album of the Year; and “Praise and Worship Song of the Year. The first Stellar Awards ceremony was held on 1984 to honor and respect the musical accomplishments by prominent gospel performers. 

There is no way to explain the phenomenal success of Winans’ musical offering other than it’s a collection of 12 beautifully written and arranged songs that strikes an internal chord in the hearts of people. Believe For It produced by Kyle Lee and Dwan Hill has garnered more awards and accolades than Winans’ previous platinum-selling albums and is now into its’ third single release, surpassing everyone’s wildest dreams.

The winners for this year’s Billboard Music Awards were announced Sunday night, live from the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, hosted by, Sean “Diddy” Combs. After 18 consecutive weeks at #1 dominating the Gospel Digital Song Sales Charts and maintaining a presence in the Top 10 positions on Billboard Christian and Gospel Charts, Winans, racked up another three nominations for the live recording of Believe For It (Puresprings Gospel/ Fair Trade Services): Top Gospel Artist, Top Christian Album, and Top Gospel Album. 

The new deluxe version of Believe For It, features the single “I’ve Got Joy “(Fair Trade Services/Pure Spring Gospel, Inc.) written by Phil Wickham and Kyle Lee, is experiencing great traction at Christian radio and “The Goodness of God” (written by Ed Cash, Jenn Johnson, Jason Ingram, Brian Johnson Ben Fielding) is being prepped for a run at Gospel radio. The “Goodness of God” has found a virtual home at the popular social networking service, TikTok garnering over 110 million views of CeCe’s version. 

The multi-awarding singer is not only feeling the love for her powerful music, but in celebration of the 1st year anniversary of  her GENERATIONS YouTube show, Winans hosted a conference that brought grandmothers, mothers and daughters together, linking multiple generations under one roof.  Sponsored by Compassion International and MOP; the two-day conference was attended by women who traveled from as far as Nigeria and other places such as: Bermuda, Texas, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, California, Oklahoma, and Missouri.
