The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) will present its third annual Avoice Heritage Celebration on February 15 from 7-9:30pm at the Eatonville restaurant in Washington, DC. The event honors those who exemplify a commitment to civic engagement, education, activism, and who preserve the rich cultural history of African Americans. This year’s awardees are the Barbara Jordan Archive Collection, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History and the Johnson Publishing Company.
