Driven in part by the Delta variant, COVID-19 cases once again are surging across the country, even among fully vaccinated individuals. Following the latest guidelines from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Gallo Center for the Arts’ board of directors, as well as the leadership of our four resident companies, have implemented a new, two-step COVID-19 safety policy:

1. Effective Friday, August 20, 2021, face masks will be required for all patrons, staff, volunteers, and contractors, regardless of vaccination status, upon entry and while in the Gallo Center, except while actively eating or drinking.

2. Effective Monday, September 20, 2021, the Center will require proof of vaccination OR proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of entry by patrons ages 12 and above, as well as staff, volunteers and contractors.

These policies will stay in effect until further notice.  For more information about CDC guidelines, please click here.  For CDPH guidelines, click here,
