d the Hollywood premiere of her new movie “Joyful Noise” in style last night.
The rapper-turned-starlet looked fabulous in a teal David Meister dress. Do we spy thigh? Yes! The body-hugging silhouette and thigh-high split is a surprising choice for Latifah, who usually sticks to flowing gowns and pant suits.
The ruching across the mid-section could have been more flattering, but overall we love the look and give her credit for taking a fashion risk.
Co-stars Dolly Parton and Keke Palmer also looked great. Palmer wore a polka mini dress paired with nude-colored heels. And Parton never misses a moment to show off her most famous assets. The country singer (and her enormous bosom) donned a white sequin dress with a plunging neckline.
Black Voices “Power List” honoree Paula Patton, Vivica A. Fox and Loretta Devine were also on hand to celebrate the film.
