YES on 31 Campaign Set to Barnstorm the State in Two-Day Bus Tour to Protect Kids from Candy-Flavored Tobacco

American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, American Heart Association, Parents Against Vaping e-Cigarettes, Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, Pediatricians, and Local Elected Officials Will Hold Press Conferences in Six Major California Cities

Bus Tour Stops Include: San Diego, Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Fresno, Oakland, and Sacramento

California – Starting on Tuesday morning, the YES on Proposition 31 campaign will kick off a two-day bus tour of California. Barnstorming the state with a call to protect kids from Big Tobacco’s candy-flavored products by voting Yes on Prop 31 by November 8th, the bus will stop in 6 of California’s biggest cities.

The traveling bus will be completely wrapped with YES on Prop 31 logo, campaign hashtags, and candy-related imagery. The colorfully-wrapped bus will serve as the backdrop for press conferences in every location, joined by community volunteers and advocates who will speak to the urgency of passing Prop 31 this year.

WHAT: Bus tour with six stops, six press conferences urging Californians to vote YES on Prop 31 to finally end the sale of candy-flavored tobacco products, including minty-menthol cigarettes, across California.
