A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 14, at 11am at the Beth Eden Baptist Church in Oakland for Mr. Leova Rainey.
Mr. Rainey was a lifetime member of the NAACP, and past president of the Oakland NAACP Branch and Credit Union. He was known in the community as “Mr. NAACP.”
The Beth Eden Baptist Church is located at 1183 10th Street, corner of 10th and Adeline, in Oakland.
