BLACK COWBOYS COMMUNITY PARADE & DOWN HOME BLUES MUSIC FEST

The legendary Black Cowboys Parade in Sacramento will keep you excited and screaming for more! Watch the parade travel through the Oak Park community from 35th Street to Broadway all the way to McClatchy Park with horses prancing; people dancing; drill teams marching and the bands playing. For the first time in history a major parade will take over the neighborhood to bring family fun for everyone. Then everyone comes to the park for the Down Home Blues Music Festival and the “Big Boss” Barbecue Cook-Off.” With bands and singers on stage you can line dance, step and party in the park. The kids can enjoy pony rides, a petting area and watch the horses dance and show their stuff. The barbecue chefs will put up their best recipes to win the trophy as the “Big Boss” of Barbecue.
