I was once told that I fall in love with someone or something every day.

It’s kinda true.

Over the years, those “things” have included locales that take me out of myself and my day-to-day problems and to different places, like the Grand Canyon, Walt Disney World, Niagara Falls, and Cedar Point.

This year, I added Universal Studios Hollywood to that list.

I made a first visit to the park last spring to cover the incredible drone show at Hogwarts, a thrilling part of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction.

I had a great day, but left a bit disappointed because their Jurassic World attraction was still under construction and was closed to be the public.

So I did what any self-respecting thrill seeker would do: I went back. A few weeks ago.

It was worth the return trip. The “swimming” Mosasaurus at Jurassic World’s outset is INCREDIBLE. Illusions collide — or are they illusions?? — and I almost thought that bad boy was going to break through that glass. All of the attraction’s animatronics have been upgraded from the former Jurassic Park ride.
