Local phenomenon in Northern California with UC Davis Grad’s invention of the special “Rapid Ramen Bowl”. Chris Johnson, a UC Davis graduate, invented the ramen noodle microwave bowl which caught the attention of Walmart. Chris Johnson’s love of ramen noodles has turned him into an inventor. He had to go through 200 packs of top ramen to perfect his invention.  “I’ve always eaten top ramen as a kid…survived on it when I was at UC Davis”, stated Johnson.  He saw that the local Walmart was looking for local suppliers and arranged a meeting with the store manager, Franklin Jackson.  Taste was the moment of truth with Jackson who stated it was “perfect!”. Johnson’s goal is to get into 5000 stores worldwide. CLICK HERE to see the YOUtube video to see winning reactions of “that’s delicious!” from customers who tried the Rapid Ramen Bowl.
