Netflix is putting pen to paper on its next original series.
The streaming giant has ordered an adaptation of satirical comedy Dear White People, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2014 before hitting theaters that fall. Produced by Lionsgate, the 10-episode, 30-minute show will go into production later this year and hit Netflix in 2017.
