Unfortunately there are several testing sites that have closed. However, THE HUB did have the opportunity to take a tour (05.15.2020) of one of the COVID-19 testing sites that remains to be open where I along with other along with other community members and watch a demo of the test being offered done at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Oak Park – Sacramento (click here to see the video). There will be limited number of testing appointments available on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 3 pm (download the information sheet with details and location).
Pop-Up COVID-19 Testing Sites
Sacramento County Public Health has partnered with California National Guard and Sacramento Public Library Authority to offer pop-up COVID-19 testing sites every 1-3 days at rotating Sacramento County public library locations. No appointments needed, but testing will be first come first served for those 18 y.o.+ with valid ID and contact information for test results. The exact times and locations will be announced the evening prior to each new location: Check Back for Pop-Up Location. Starting Friday, May 21st, CVS Health will be offering up to 50 tests a day for COVID-19 at drive-thru windows in two of its capital region pharmacies, at 8101 Greenback Lane in Fair Oaks and at 1350 Florin Road in Sacramento. CLICK HERE to get more info.
