“True Blood” character Lettie Mae Thornton, played by Adina Porter, will become a series regular in the series’ final season, according to an article on TVGuide.com.
Porter’s character is the mother of newbie vampire Tara Thornton, played by Rutina Wesley. Porter has been on the show since the first season. She also reportedly plays a recurring role on “The Newsroom” on HBO.
