The 4th Annual BET Honors hit Washington, D.C. in January 2011 at the Warner Theatre. Jamie Foxx, Iman and Cicely Tyson are among the honorees for this year’s BET HONORS.
Hosted by actress Gabrielle Union for the third year, the BET HONORS recognizes lifetime contributions and exceptional service from African-Americans leading in music, media, film, service and education. The special will premiere on BET during Black History Month on Monday, Feb. 21 at 9 p.m.
The 2011 honorees include actress Cicely Tyson, Oscar award-winning actor and musician Jamie Foxx, supermodel Iman, publishing mogul Linda Johnson Rice, world renowned musician Herbie Hancock and accomplished historian Lonnie G. Bunch.
