New York Governor Andrew Cuomo just signed an executive order allowing business owners to require a mask or face covering before entering their businesses. Some are claiming that that’s a violation of their “constitutional rights.”

I disagree, and as we look to Arden Mall in Sacramento and other businesses reopening for in-person shopping this weekend, I think California’s governor Gavin Newsom should give California’s business owners the same authority, and require all shoppers to wear face coverings.
