The Fashion Institute of Technology is apologizing after its runway show was deemed “racist.” 

The New York based institute held a fashion show for its graduating MFA program students on Feb. 7. The show featured models dressed in large prosthetic ears, red oversized lips and bushy eyebrows, drawing comparisons to blackface, among other racist caricatures and stereotypes.
