Beginning Black Friday, Elk Grove shoppers can win $2,000 or a variety of other prizes by shopping local.
On Friday, November 23, dozens of local businesses will be offering incentives and prizes for shopping locally this holiday season. The annual Think, Shop, Live Elk Grove Holiday Shopping Program will run throughout the holiday season until December 16.
Shoppers can enter to win prizes by visiting any of the participating locations, filling out a raffle entry form and dropping it in the holiday bag. The more stores a shopper visits, the more opportunities are available to win prizes.

The program runs through Dec. 16. Winners will be announced the following day. “Now more than ever it is important for all of us to support our local business community by shopping at home for the holidays. This program gives shoppers an incentive to shop Elk Grove for all their holiday gifts,” said Angi Perry, Executive Director of the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce. “This year we are inviting all Elk Grove businesses to participate, even those without a traditional retail store front, in hopes that we will continue to increase awareness about the variety of businesses right here in our own backyard.”
