Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro and Ellen Pompeo are joining the ranks of stars who are advocating for the importance of face masks during the coronavirus pandemic.

On Thursday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo launched “Mask Up America,” a star-studded campaign urging Americans to wear face masks in public to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

The campaign will debut eight public service announcements with celebs De Niro, Kaitlyn Dever, Jamie Foxx, John Leguizamo, Anthony Mackie, Rosie Perez and Pompeo. The first two videos, with voice-overs by Freeman and Jeffrey Wright, came out Thursday.
