You can join the mass youth choir this year at the 19th Annual Multicultural Gospel Celebration taking place at the California State Fair on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Taking place from 11 am until 8:30 pm on the PG&E Center Stage at Cal Expo Fairgrounds in Sacramento. The Elite Crenshaw Choir from Los Angeles will be the headliner this year…they sang for President Barack Obama in December 2013.
Looking to reach 100 youth for participation in the mass choir. There are no auditions, no costs or try outs. All youth are welcome and you do not have to belong to a church, we just want you to come. Ages range from 5-20 years old. Interested persons just need to attend rehearsals, learn the songs and perform on stage.
Choir rehearsals are each Monday, beginning June 23, 2014 at 6:30 pm at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, 3651 27th Avenue in Sacramento (across from PS7 School). For more information or any questions, please call Mary Nance Harris at (916) 422-4015.
