Tiger Woods, 11 weeks removed from back surgery that forced him to miss the Masters, a title defense at The Players Championship and the U.S. Open, has begun hitting full shots, including his driver, his agent confirmed to USA TODAY Sports on Tuesday.

“Tiger is continuing to progress each day,” Mark Steinberg, Woods’ agent, said in an e-mail. “As he feels better and better, he extends his swing. That was the plan from day one and he is sticking to the plan.”

There remains no timetable for his return.
