Mariah Carey’s 2018 got off to a much better start than her 2017 did.

Last year, the pop icon made headlines for all the wrong reasons after a botched performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest, when technical difficulties led the diva to exit the stage in frustration and disgust.
