Employees at the Amador County Superior Court briefly gathered in the Department 3 courtroom Wednesday morning, eagerly waiting to meet their new CEO, Barbara Cockerham.
With Judge David Richmond making the introductions, employees said hello to the woman who will now watch over the fluidity of Amador’s legal system, and they began saying goodbye to Hugh Swift, the former CEO who had worked with them on award-winning endeavors that have put the county’s small courthouse on strong footing for the future.
