Will Smith is a phenomenal, Academy Award-winning actor who quite surprisingly manages to sink films as easily as he carries them. Watching anything he does is a bit of a crap shoot. For every Independence Day, there’s an Aladdin. . . or worse, a Planet Earth.

But after the last few weeks of coronavirus and lynched black men in the streets of our country, I needed a bit of a distraction last night, so I decided to roll the Will Smith dice and stream last year’s action flick Gemini Man. I know the feature’s almost a year old, but I had to tell you:

Smith came through. In spades.

If you’ve ever wondered what you’d say if you could have a chat with your younger self, watch Gemini Man. The film, and Smith’s stellar performance, just may cause you to rethink what you might say!
