Oprah Winfrey Eyes Best-Seller ‘The Covenant of Water’ as Her Next Film Project
In a recent interview, the ‘Color Purple’ producer revealed plans to adapt Abraham Verghese’s novel, one of her book club selections, but admitted she’s going “to have a hell of a time getting that done because it’s also a story about people of color.”
