The City of San Jose and the San Jose/Silicon Valley NAACP Chapter will celebrate the Second Annual African American History Month Flag Raising Ceremony on Friday, February 15, 2013.
Hosted by Councilmember Ash Kalra, the event will feature special guest Ron Davis, SJSU track coach and teammate of 1968 Olympic Tommie Smith and John Carlos, as well as a performance by the San Jose State Gospel Choir, art exhibit by local artists, authentic soul food and more.
