For parents looking to help their children properly navigate through the youth basketball waters, who better to turn to than basketball’s most beloved mother-son duo?

Stephen Curry and his mother, Sonya, helped launch the Jr. NBA Parent Initiative on Wednesday in Walnut Creek, Calif. The event, which was also attended by Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia and assistant coach Mike Brown, included a youth basketball clinic, a parent workshop and a panel discussion for the families in attendance.
